Hotel Juenmi

Skiing in winter on the most beautiful slopes in East Tyrol

Winterfeelings

You and me and winter fun …
juenmi is centrally located in the Dolomites, surrounded by countless ski and toboggan runs. No end of winter fun – oh yeah.
There’s usually more than enough glittering powder snow, our white gold, here in winter. Once here, we really feel like weaving down the steep slopes of the Sillian Hochpustertal ski center and the Drei Zinnen ski area, scaling the most beautiful mountain peaks in the Dolomites on touring skis, going tobogganing with the family, taking our skates out onto Lake Tristach, or testing our undiscovered skills in a biathlon – it’s all possible directly from the juenmi.

And once you’ve explored all the ski areas around us, it’s definitely worth a day trip to the Kronplatz, which is super-easy to reach thanks to the Ski Pustertal Express.

The region’s Christmas markets are a special highlight. Stroll from stand to stand in Lienz or Bruneck, surrounded by Christmas scents, sounds and impressions that enchant. For that pure vacation feeling. That’s juenmi.

Share a sled over kilometres
of toboggan runs
A tobboganing trip to Sillian is always worth it. After a stop at the Leckfeldalm for a bite to eat, it’s a lot of fun to race down the toboggan run with its many curves. Winter hiking with a sled ride at the end is also possible at the nearby Haunold. Come and try it!
Leave footprints!
Leave your tracks while
snowshoeing in the
glittering powder snow.
Snowshoeing is the new big thing in winter hiking. Equipped like Bigfoot in this way, you can also leave your mark in the soft powder snow away from the prepared trails. Leaving footprints is what it’s all about on the many great snowshoe tours in the Dolomites, around the Three Peaks and in the mountains of the Hochpustertal.
Practise your pirouettes on
the frozen Lake Tristach
Race over the ice on flashing blades, play ice hockey, or just skate along at your own pace.. What could be better than ice skating?! You can also hone your skills in figure skating on Lake Tristach or at the Sillian Sports Center. Be the next Ice Princess or Prince!

Skiing and snowboarding in the heart of the Dolomites

A skiing holiday in the Hochpustertal makes every skier’s heart beat faster. Ski touring in and around East Tyrol

East Tyrol is a ski touring Eldorado. Not only do you have the lure of the Dolomites with their numerous peaks, notches and steep gullies, but, especially in high winter, there are also the Villgraten mountains and the Gailtal Alps. And all of this is right on our doorstep. A ski tour on our local mountain, the Thurntaler, is suitable for a warm-up, but the Venediger and Großglockner groups are also not far away.

Classic or skating? Do both in the Dolomiti Nordic Ski Arena

Cross-country skiing and biathlon

Cross-country skiing is all the more fun with the Dolomites in the background. What a wonderful setting! The Obertilliach cross-country skiing center and the Dolomiti Nordic Ski Arena offer just that! But you can also start with a cross-country tour right on the juenmi’s doorstep. If you also enjoy shooting, then the biathlon is just the thing for you! Have a new experience in classic cross-country skiing or skating.
